App Publish Policy

App Publish Policy

This App Publish Policy sets out the rules, conditions, and compliance requirements for developers, publishers, and partners who submit apps to AppPublish Hub.

Effective Date: March 26, 2026

1. Scope

This policy applies to all apps, game packages, APK files, screenshots, descriptions, metadata, logos, updates, advertising materials, linked assets, and any related content submitted for review, hosting, listing, publication, or promotion on AppPublish Hub.

2. Ownership and Authority

You may submit an app only if you are the rightful owner, authorized publisher, or legally authorized representative. You must have lawful rights to all code, content, branding, trademarks, images, media, libraries, and materials included.

3. Developer Accuracy

Developers must provide accurate app information, including app name, category, package identity, feature claims, permissions, privacy practices, pricing, contact details, support information, and update notes. False, misleading, or incomplete information may lead to rejection or suspension.

4. Security and Malware Restrictions

  • Apps must not contain malware, spyware, trojans, backdoors, ransomware, hidden executables, or harmful code.
  • Apps must not exploit device vulnerabilities, bypass security controls, or access data without lawful authority.
  • Apps may be scanned, reviewed, tested, or manually investigated before or after publication.

5. Privacy and Data Rules

  • Apps must not collect, process, transmit, or share user data unlawfully or deceptively.
  • Apps that collect personal, financial, device, location, contact, account, or sensitive data must provide a clear privacy policy.
  • Apps must disclose significant permissions, third-party SDKs, advertising behavior, tracking, and account deletion methods where applicable.

6. Prohibited Content

The following may be rejected, removed, or escalated:

  • Illegal, infringing, pirated, copied, or unauthorized apps.
  • Adult sexual exploitation content, child endangerment material, or abusive content.
  • Extremist, violent, hateful, deceptive, fraudulent, phishing, or impersonation apps.
  • Apps that facilitate hacking, unlawful surveillance, credential theft, cheating, or evasion of law/policy.
  • Apps that violate payment, gambling, financial, or regulated-service rules without proper authorization.

7. Intellectual Property Complaints

We may remove or disable access to any app upon receiving a copyright, trademark, brand abuse, impersonation, or ownership complaint. Developers may be required to provide proof of rights or authorization.

8. Review and Moderation

Submission does not guarantee publication. We may request edits, documents, policy clarification, identity verification, company information, or security explanation before approval.

9. Updates and Re-Review

Every app update may be re-reviewed. A previously approved app may later be restricted or removed if new risks, complaints, legal issues, or policy violations are discovered.

10. Developer Responsibility After Publication

  • Maintain support contact and respond to critical issues.
  • Fix security vulnerabilities, broken downloads, deceptive behavior, and false claims promptly.
  • Keep app metadata, screenshots, and policy disclosures accurate and current.
  • Honor applicable consumer, refund, and legal requirements.

11. Enforcement

For policy breaches, we may take one or more of the following actions:

  • Reject submission
  • Require correction
  • Suspend app visibility
  • Unpublish or remove the app
  • Suspend or terminate the developer account
  • Freeze payouts where lawfully necessary
  • Report severe issues to relevant authorities or partners

12. No Guarantee of External Store Approval

Approval on AppPublish Hub does not guarantee approval on Google Play, Apple App Store, or any third-party marketplace, partner platform, advertiser, payment provider, or regulator.
